Featured Stamper Challenge hosted by Ardyth and honoring Laura.
I so enjoyed looking through Laura's gallery. I was especially intrigued by this lovely one:
I really like how she layered this image. I thought it looked framed. It reminded me of all my patterned papers that have scenes. What a great way to use them. I was inspired!
I selected a different winter scene and found some pre-cut frames in my stash. Although, I loved the pretty lace trim that Laura used, I used a lacy scalloped frame instead. Due to the size of the wood DSP frame, I had to make the card bigger than my usual A2. I searched through my 12 x 12 cardstock and found Cajun Craze and textured Pool Party, which are the colors in the printed paper.
After layering my card, I stamped a sentiment in an open area. Instead of large embellishments, I accented with small rhinestones and dotted Wink of Stella glitter on the falling white snow. It really sparkles when moved gently under a light. Unfortunately, it does not show in the photo. I cut another strip from the same DSP pack and glued it to the envelope. Fun card to make.
Thank you, Laura for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for truly inspiring my card today!

Wonderful case of Laura's pretty card. I just used this paper today. Love that scalloped frame and all of your layers. Your warm sentiment looks great where you placed it.

Lovely way to feature a DP scene. I always have trouble using them. Your scalloped frame really has a snowy feel to it and is perfect with the colours and theme of your image. Beautiful card!

Stunning! The designer paper scene with the matching papers is perfect. The stitched scallop die and the die on the wood grain add beauty to this gem.
