I started a pretty enormous one sheet wonder project today as I need a fair amount of birthday cards for seniors this month. I used this cutting guide:
And cut up 6 total pieces of pattern paper, four pieces in coordinating bright colors and two pieces in a more masculine palette. This is one of the A/B cards according to the cutting guide. For this specific card I also challenged myself to use the sketch from the most recent sketch challenge.
I covered a white card front with navy blue cardstock, then cut a strip of the striped paper into the trapezoid shape from the sketch and attached. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock in perfect plum, cut to size and shape, and backed with thin strips of wavy, trimming the ends to points. I glued the sentiment strips to the top left. I stamped the smallest speckled balloon from Beautiful Balloons three times onto white cardstock, once each with Perfect Plum, Old Olive and Night of Navy inks and die cut them out. I stamped the balloon string in Night of Navy onto the card front. I glued the purple and navy balloons to the card front and used foam tape to pop up the green balloon in between the other two balloons.
