For Kim's Falliday Fest Challenge (FF23berlycece).
I thought for sure there would be some worn out flannel in this house, but the sweet husband I have must have actually thrown his out! So, I looked at what I had that needed to be retired, and ended up snipping off this piece of fabric and stamping over the top of it to make it sort of look like flannel. Combined that with this awesome piece of designer series paper, I was gifted for participating in a local demos challenge and off I went. I was thrilled to find this unused image from one of my favorite stamps in my stash of odds and ends, and I thought it would work perfectly for this given the color of the fabric I had and thinking of snow and a peaceful Christmas scene.
For additional pictures, plus closeups of the sparkle and a peek at the inside of the card (sentiment by Papertrey Ink inside), please see this page on my blog: https://danceswithhooves.wordpress.c...ceful-flannel/
Great challenge- lots of fun!
Thanks for looking!
Blessings,
Chrissy

Ooh how cool, I know what you mean. I totally thought I could steal one that had a corner hanging on it, but evidently hubs KNEW I would want the flannel and tossed his also. This is so cool I love that you stamped the fabric.

Indeed, it does look like flannel with your stamping over the fabric. I LOVE that image. Love the church AND the snowman.
