I made a card two days in a row! Yippee! My kids have birthday parties to go to for their baseball teammates. And for the Superstitions MIX challenge, what's better than baseball players? There's a lot of importance placed on wearing the right socks, eating the right meal, drinking the right drink, etc....
I've also combined with the TLC971 Faux Shutter Card.
The center pictures are cropped from pictures from our trip to the 8 year old World Series. My Raleigh made it onto the top card. He's #3 standing there with his third place medal. I couldn't find my grass DP, so I used this DP that has a kind of grassy looking pattern. I decided to color the white part brown on one of the cards, but left it white on the other. For the bottom panel, I drew on baseball stitching with a Copic. Then I used my Brother ScanNCut software to make a cut file of the kids' autographs and applied them to the cardstock with HTV. The card with all the white looked to clean for baseball, so I sponged the whole card with brown ink. I always think my cards don't look finished until I draw a border around them.

How fun to make this so personal with the actual photos!! I really liked learning how to do this technique!! I will be continuing to use it a lot in my card making from now on!!
