Karen is hosting our color challenge this week with some colors from the bright family. Dessert is anything goes. Let's say my dessert is dry embossing.
I thought I would see if I could make these work to fill in a blank spot in my card stash so that meant a sympathy card.
Thanks for taking a peek. I look forward to seeing the rest of this week's gallery and I hope you will be there!

What a lovely sympathy card you created Chris with these bold colors - and yet somehow your card is appropriately subdued!! I love it!! I haven't played with those dies but I think I will now!

Wow, Chris. If you'd asked me, I would have told you these colors were way too happy for a sympathy card. Good thing you didn't ask because this is gorgeous and perfect. You used these color to create on classy, heartfelt card. Love the embossing on the main panel. What a beautiful touch to accent those equally beautiful floral die cuts. Awesome card.

Chris, this is such a beautiful sympathy card. The colors are perfect--just a hint of the blue, with the texture of dry embossing and a pair of sweet flowers. It's so hard to make a sympathy card when we need one, so kudos to you for doing it when you don't need it.

Amazing work to use the bright challenge colors for such a lovely sympathy card. The flowers are beautiful. Terrific embossing and layering. Nicely done!
