This is for today's TLC, courtesy of Sabrina-a faux shutter card. I feel like I've done this before. I'm pretty sure I've never done a 'non-faux' shutter card.
I also wanted to participate in the FS challenge from yesterday. Manetta, what a lovely gallery. I went toward the end to case this: Faux Silk Thinking of You by manetta at Splitcoaststampers
She used the faux silk technique and used blues; I did the gilded faux silk technique and used some blues, also some purple. Lots of 'faux' going on!! I thought the technique would make for a lovely shutter card. I made an osw with the technique since I knew it would take a while to dry and why not have some left over?
Thanks for the challenges and, Manetta, enjoy your week in the spotlight!

The gilded tissue paper looks lovely with the snowflakes stamped on it and is great to use with the holographic strips for the faux shutter technology. The real gatefold shutter is quite fiddly, I wouldn't be surprised if you hadn't tried it. Fun, but fiddly.
