I love her card! I kept the cattails using a different stamp. I stamped them first and then watercolored the full scene (other than a bit of sponging). I also changed up the sentiment/occasion up.
This is also to catch up on Linda's WCW172 which is Water Coloring Water using one of Dina's tutorials. This was the perfect opportunity to try it and I love how the water came out. I also used a paper towel cloud technique from another water color challenge.
Congrats, Manetta and thanks for all the inspiration. Enjoy your week!

Wowee! I wish I could watercolor even half as good! Those cattails really help bring that sunset into focus and however did you paint that reflection? Wonderful card!!

Your watercolor creations are always impressive. I love the scene you have painted for us in every respect from the beautiful sun and its reflection to the ripples of water and those beautiful clouds. The cattails in the foreground are wonderful. Great card.
Nancy, this is a beautiful case of Manetta's inspiration card. The silhouette cattails are highlighted beautifully with your gorgeous water colored water and sky. I especially love how you captured the sun setting yellow shadows across the water.
