Do you remember the trend in the Eighties where movie sequels were almost identical to the original, except for a change in scenery or some minor detail? This card, Running Scared 2, follows the same pattern, but this time it takes place in a shopping district on Halloween night.
Unfortunately, I didn't have any store-related stamps to use for this card. However, I did have a town row stamp that I had never used before, and I thought that with some imagination it would work for this card. It now depicts the shopping area of a small village.
Unlike the original card, which featured a werewolf in a forest, this one features a mummy in a village shopping row. What a creative change! (lol)
The main image is stamped with Ranger archival. Same with the moon. I used SU and DO inks for the rough coloring. The fun silhouettes are by Whimsy Stamps. The sides are marred with DO Black Soot. The corner piece die cut is added for embellishment (Bigger and Better! Sequel style.)
In the spirit of Eighties movies, I'm unapologetically releasing this card for WT968.
Thanks for looking!

I like the city setting - somehow it's a lot less scary than the original version. The row of houses works perfectly to suggest Main Street in a village with shops included.

The town row stamp totally works for giving off shop vibes. The black silhouette die cuts really pop against the background. I like the moon a lot. Great card!
