My card is based on something I saw in the Trader Joe's Fearless Flyer which I found online. I'll show a screenshot on the Teaparty thread. It portrayed 2 crows drinking apple cider. I thought the crows looked like this stamp I had so I used that, paper pieced her dress, and fussy cut out. I sponged the bg and stamped the tree trunk. Then I added the leafy part which I drew and painted using distress inks. I drew the fields in the foreground and as a salute to Trader Joe's I printed a small photo of their cider and put that at the base of the tree.

Oh my gosh how cute is this crow. Love your addition of the teacup and cider too. Looks like your crow is ready to have a short break and enjoy a lovely drink.

Love Ms. Crow!!!!!!! Yes it's cider time. Just saw a piece on the news about a new apple developed at U of M, called kudos. I'm learning things about Minnesota that I didn't know, like U of M is known for developing apples...honey crisp?!? Cool! Your card is so delightful.

So much to love on this card, Polly, very creatively designed! I love the bird in the paper pieced dress and the tree looks wonderful, especially with the bottle of cider and tea cup underneath.

Fun take on your inspiration. That's an amazing tree trunk! Id be quite happy to sit under it with a glass of apple cider and a bird for company. American cider always confuses me because here it's always alcoholic, otherwise it's just called apple juice.

WOW, I have that TJ flyer on my kitchen counter! Great use of the challenge…the cider bottle is a fab touch and that crow girl, dare I say, the cat’s meow!!! Your creative muse is spot on, Pol!
