I needed a birthday card for my aunt's birthday next week and she loves blue. So, I was excited when I saw this Dahlia Ruffle Button Swing Dress. Colored and fussy cut the large dahlia image. Pulled out the previously cut plaid coverplate die cut and adhered the large flower. Decided I really didn't like the stark white, so I pulled out some of my old glimmer mist. It is hard to see, but it is there. Sprayed a scrap piece of white and stamped the sentiment. Embellished with some bling.

Your blue dahlia is gorgeous. Fabulous coloring. I love that plaid die cut as a background. Gives it a very modern feel. Wonderful card for anyone but especially for a dear aunt. Hugs.

What a beautiful card, using that wonderful dahlia. The grid behind it is fab too.
