For Lydia's MIX challenge today. Not sure how it ended up looking so crooked, I might have to take it apart and trim it. But it's my first Friday off since we came back from holidays in June (taking a break from sorting out my aunt's house this week), and it was nice to find a little time to make a card in the middle of doing a major houseclean as that also has been a bit skimped over in recent weeks.
No rice-paper here except in the kitchen. I do, somewhere, have some of that super-thin collage paper but I couldn't put my hands on it. Looking through my box I thought this leftover piece from my Frosted Filter TLC a while back would fit the bill. I cut the trellis from cardboard and then layered the filter square on top. Burnished down, and then added some Inka Gold to the trellis and the edges of the panel (and also to the edge of the embossed base layer). Added a butterfly from my stash and a birthday sentiment. Between the Posca pen, the Inka Gold, the Inktense pencils on the butterfly and whatever I used, probably re-inkers, for the filter I'm well covered on several mediums.

That's beautiful!!! I'm curious about the rice paper in your kitchen - are you meaning like for spring rolls? Or is there another useful paper I don't know about? Coffee filter as a sub is flat out brilliant.

Beautiful colours and dimension; you chose such a lovely embossed image to place your paper over. Love the combination of challenges, very striking card!
