This is the front of my cheapskate card for my niece. She has a Bengal cat, so I thought of featuring her cat for her birthday card.
Here is my inspiration: https://www.theclassyhome.com/Produc...+Shelter+Chair The chair looks a bit like the inside DSP and the sketch (when open) looks a bit like the chair. If you want to get specific, the chair has four legs and so does my cat. (snicker) Besides, I think a Bengal cat statue with gold spots would look great sitting next to this chair.
Cheapskate cut gets 4 cards out of one piece of DSP. Choose a piece of DSP that you like both sides of the pattern together. Cut at 6 inches, then cut both 6 inch pieces into 5.5 inches x 6 inches. Score the 6 inch side at 4.25 inches. This will give you an A2 base with a flap. If the paper is directional, plan your cuts accordingly. Adhere a rectangle to the flap to make a card front.
I used the punched DSP negative for the envelope.

Oh yes, a toy for this sweet kitty is just perfect. My girls have so many toys all over the house and I know that I have a toy mouse for them too. Not sure what room it is in right now but I am sure if I looked I would find it.
