I had found this faux fireplace with the carved looking wood instead of you know so modern and then I started digging in my fireplace stamps. ( most of mine are all bricks or rocks but, I had just this one with a wooden Mantel.) I think the painting would have been a little better if I had done it in a darker ink. ( that is a cat sleeping on the lower left and a bag of toys on the right) and that just didn't turn out so great. So, I used the MFT framed die to cut the hole into the top of the cardbase and taped it back into the hole. Mounted the painted panel behind that and then added the printed paper holly frame diecut over the top of that embedded frame to give it a little more depth. The tiny tag sentiment mostly hides the not so great painting of the toys coming out of the top of the sack. The star gem is actually sparkly in real life but reds are such a fun challenge to shoot. Thanks for this challenge Julie, & tfl.
