I die-cut the Stack O' Pumpkins from Distress Watercolor card and coloured with Carved Pumpkin, Crackling Campfire, Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks using Simon Says Detail Round Blending Brushes.
I used the die-cut card to trace the outline of the pumpkins with a pencil on to Simon Says Black cardstock, trimmed within the pencil line, fixed to the back of each pumpkin and added the stalks.
I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Friendly Ghosts stamp set on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Simon Says Intense Black and on to Simon Says Black cardstock, inked with Versamark, heat set with Simon Says White Detail Embossing Powder and die-cut using the matching dies. Then it was time to have some fun and make cards.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4"x 5.1/4" for the first background and coloured with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks using mini round blending tools. I started in the centre, worked my way out to create a glow effect, spritzed with water and dried.
I inked the cobweb image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Life Is A Party with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I added splatters of Black Soot Distress Paint to the background and die-cut pumpkins.
I fixed the pumpkins and sentiments to the panel using Simon Says Black Foam Squares to add dimension.
I splattered Distress Resist Spray over the background, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set.
To finish, I used a Sakura Black Glaze Pen over the black splatters on the pumpkins, added white highlights on the eyes with a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and matted the panel on to a top folding white A2 card blank.
I fixed the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Moon Mask temporarily to the second Distress Watercolor card background, coloured with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks, removed the mask, spritzed the panel with water to let the inks flow on to the moon. I then blended Mowed Lawn lightly through the matching detail mask.
I fixed Idea-ology Mummy Cloth to the background using small dots of Distress Collage Medium under where the pumpkins would be placed. I added splatters of Picket Fence Distress Paint to the pumpkins, white highlights to the eyes with a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and fixed to the background with Simon Says Black Foam Squares to add dimension.
To finish I added the sentiments popped up on Black Foam Squares and matted the panel on to a top folding A2 white card blank.
