I managed to fit a quick card in using some lovely Basic Grey paper. The snowman is an old stamp, possibly Anita's. I had to angle the photo so that you can see the shine of the gold embossing.

Yes the technique makes quick cards IF you can find your supplies and stamps. It's what I want for a sentiment that I can't find. Sigh. Really cute snowman card; the technique doesn't have to be focused on fixing broken things.

I still have stashes of Basic Grey papers in my papers as well. Their patterns were some of my favorites and just like this technique proves to us, pretty things are worthy of redemption. Even these precious scraps become elegant with those touches of gold added to them. Love your sweet Christmas card!

Love your pretty background and your snowman, do you mean this snowman was mine? I don't remember... I love the way you've added the technique to this card
