I was mainly inspired by her creativity in making a Flower by constructing the petals from something else, and the shape reminded me of the Spellbinders shape nesting dies I got last year but had not tried yet.
The dies had a bit of a learning curve for me so I will spare you all the false starts and adjustments I made. Basically I found five different shades of red cardstock and die cut the concentric pieces from each, then cut five of the flat teardrop shape with the other die and glued the concentric pieces on place. I covered a card front with pattern paper and added two strips in a coordinating yellow. I think all of these are from the Butterfly Bliss DSP. I cut a square from dark yellow paper and rounded the corners then layered onto a square of Starry Sky cardstock, also rounded the corners. I arranged the 5 petals on the yellow square and glued down. I used a circle punch to cut a circle from dark maroon paper and glued to the flower center, then embellished with amber and clear gem stickers.
Congrats again, Lesley, hope it was a fantastic week!
USEIT2023: Finally busted open the shape dies I impulse bought last year. Also used some scraps and still working my way through a sheet of gem stickers from Dollar Tree.

Those dies do look like petals and you made a fun, mod-styled flower with them. Flower Power to the Max! Love the casual, happy feel of this. Wonderful card.
