My sister's having a hawaiian theme wedding reception and I made her invitations as a gift. I learned a lot about printing & stamping on vellum and about how many 200 invites really is! Vellum printed on computer & stamped on back.

Thanks for your wonderful comments, ladies! We're not doing response cards, but I am including a map/details card that I still have to finish today.
Printing on vellum isn't complicated, just time consuming. The ink takes a long time to dry and if you have more than one sheet come out of the printer and pile up on one another, it smears the ink. So I spent a lot of time on the computer putting one sheet at a time through the printer and scattering them around my desk to dry. That was when I discovered and quickly became addicted to SCS. That's why I stamped on the back of the vellum, too. On the front it ran into the wording and smeared the ink. I've since learned that there is vellum that's made for inkjet printers (sigh), but I haven't tried it out and so don't know what it's like.

Gina, I know your pain. I just finished 190+ invitations last night!! I will take a picture and upload it later but OMG I had 185 done and the "bride" told me yesterday that she need 5 more so I did 8. I don't want to do another one. I printed her response cards & reception info/directions. I am also doing programs, favors, thank you's. (I have not even started these things yet. I can't wait LOL)
Anyway, yours turned out so BEAUTIFUL. TFS!!
