Welcome to Christmas in July! This month, your Color Challenge team is going to help you get a start on your Christmas cards. The dessert option all month is "Christmas in July."
Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has started us off with some traditional colors: Poppy Parade, Soft Succulent and Petal Pink.
This stamp came to mind when I saw this palette--pink for Santa and the elf's faces, traditional red for Santa's hat, and an elf all dressed in green. I used Copic markers from my collection that came pretty close to the listed colors. Of course, browns and grays are neutrals, as is the gold for the snowflake sequins.
I cut the window from my top cardstock layer, then used foam tape for a little dimension between that layer and the focal element.
Merry Christmas, and please join us this week/month as we work through some colorful challenges!

Super cute, Barbara! This image is perfect for the challenge colors and the Christmas theme. Beautiful coloring. Love that puffy white in just the right places. The snowflakes are a nice touch. Great card.

Barbara this is precious! I love how you've colored them and I'm not sure why I didn't think of coloring some faces with the petal pink. Very smart idea - works perfectly!
