This is what inspired me: https://decoratorswarehouse.com/8-so...candle-holder/
I was commissioned by a friend to make a birthday card for Rosemary, who will be 101 years old later in July and her favorite color is pink. I decided to make two so my friend would have a choice...not sure which one she'll like best but I'm going to bet on the circle one.
The one on the left has rose gold paste with a butterfly stencil and then sponging over the paste with DOx Victorian velvet; the one on the right has blush glitter paste, then sponging over the glitter with DOx spun sugar. The butterflies and papers are different. Fairy wings Nuvo Drops are on the butterfly bodies. Thanks for the challenge....it came in handy today.

What a wonderful set of cards, Jean! They're both beautiful and I love the texture of the stenciled patterns and your technique with the opposite rounded corners! I need to remember that extra touch!

Some very pretty butterflies and featured panels, Jean. I love them both. She is going to have a hard time picking! Lovely work. Hugz
