The theme of this week's Teapot Challenge is "wavy", and I chose to use printed paper with a wavy pattern (it's great paper for any water-themed image, and all I have after making this card is about a 2-inch strip. I will miss it.) The canoe image is black embossed. I then stamped the image on pale peach cardstock, cut out the setting sun, and pieced it over the image. My first idea for the twine was to do some sort of sailor's knot, but honestly, I know nothing about sailor's knots, so I just used a bead and some twine to have a little something on the left side of the card. Might be overkill.

So sad when a favorite paper is used but you get a great card like in this instance. I love that image too - so calm and serene. A super lovely card for this challenge, and the twine treatment is beautiful. Hugz

I can see why you have loved that DP for watery scenes. So glad you had enough for the wavy lines challenge. You silhouette is wonderful and exudes a feeling of serenity. The twine treatment ads nice balance to the card.
