A bit late for the tea party this week. The challenge is to include wood grain, tools or a fun fold on our card. I managed to get all three this week.
My father-in-law was a carpenter and besides building houses, he did cabinetry and built beautiful furniture pieces. I am fortunate to have a full bedroom suite, a china cabinet and a grandfather clock all built by him.

Wow, you are lucky to have those things! I am amazed at workworking and wish I had learned it myself - especially cabinetry. I like your fold, mix of woods, and cool tool image. Super card, Vicky. Hugz

I really like the variety of woodgrain on your card and the fold is fabulous! This is the perfect card for Clint. How wonderful to have all those lovely pieces made by your FIL...treasures!

Love the woodgrain you've used here and that strip with the center cut of a log looks fabulous. Perfect backdrop for some carpentry tools. Wonderful card and Clint will enjoy and appreciate the design and the fun fold.
How fabulous to have hand built pieces from your FIL. It makes the pieces all that more special knowing the work put into building them and that they were made especially for you. A precious gift and memory for sure. Hugs.
