I can't help but feel like the old saying "everything looks like a nail when all you have is a hammer" is becoming true for me and my card-making. Most of my stamps and dies feature nature themes, and today's color palette reminded me of the natural greens and colors of the sky.
Now that the card is complete, I can't help but recall the forest fires I've seen, and the colors of the sky on this card seem to echo that memory. Of course, that was never my intention - this card is all about peaceful nature scenes, with no wildfires involved.
To create this card, I used four different stamps. The background stamp creates the base layer, and then I added two taller trees in the foreground to give the scene more depth and dimension. There's also a messy stamp that I covered up with some washi tape. Creative embellishment
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my card.

Creative idea for the challenge colors. Very pretty scene. I like how you created depth with the different sizes of trees. Washi tape is a great way to hide a smudge. Nicely done.

This is a lovely forest scene. While I can certainly relate to forests under siege, your card creates a very peaceful scene. As the queen of ink smudging - great use of washi tape to save the day! :-)
