I am the guest hostess for this week's Tea Party and thought I would love to see a gallery full of other teapotters favourite time of the day. I do think that can vary, over the years, depending on what stage you are at and what you are doing. I think once I retired, after working and raising a family, I started to notice more of the bird life in our garden. I also realised how precious it was to be able to sit and enjoy that first cup of coffee! This is my favourite time of the day!
I stamped, paper pieced and fussy cut my coffee cup. Die cut the square mat and added sentiment, gold sticker for steam in centre of the cup and die cut a couple of 'orange biscuits' (cookies) to enjoy with the coffee.
No extra cookies for me. It is also the time of the month that we teapotters send our card to a fellow teapotter. TFL!

I love the paper pieced coffee cup...a vintage print...so you! I can just imagine and John sitting there with your coffees and checking out the bird activity in your yard...sounds wonderful and very relaxing!

Great challenge for this month's tickle, Sue. I can almost smell the coffee brewing with your tones of brown papers & ink. The tiny bits of coral add some fun interest.

Biscuits with your coffee, that would be DH. He finds it very hard to drink either tea of coffee without having something to nibble. I like your steam sticker, very effective. A lovely write-up and a great challenge - thank you.

To me nothing smells better than fresh brewed coffee, but I can't even take a taste. I do not like coffee, never have. I enjoy your card though. That's one pretty cup.
