This is my second card from the May kit that I sent out to the Creative Card Chicks. I had the cherries colored but, kept getting interrupted to do "non" card making things!!! So, I'm finally posting my card!!
I used the left over pieces of the dsp that I cut. The oval like design was perfect for doing the fussy cutting. I then turned over the cherry paper to use the polka dot side. I had a tiny piece left after cutting....so, that went on top with the Baker's Twine wrapped around the skinny red paper and made a bow. After framing the cherries with some black cs...used the dies with a scalloped edge. It's hard to see...but, it's there!! I then started digging for a card base. When I found the Ridinghood Red card stock...it was a great match to the darker cherries in the paper. I finally got a chance to finish it up today!!
Our normal posting time for this group is the 21st-23rd of each month. I figured that 2 days late is better than not at all!!!
Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend....keeping those veterans and first responders that we have lost in our memories forever.
