This is my sample for CC949. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose gorgeous grape, pale papaya and polished pink for her color trio. Dessert option this week is anything goes. I used jewels for an embellishment.
I needed a card of encouragement for my friend who just received a not so good report on her husband's health.
I used the Spring Blooms die from CottageCutz for the floral arrangement. They are cut in the challenge colors plus mossy meadow (neutral) for the leaves and stems.
The background pale papaya designer paper is from the Stampin' Up "expressions in ink" collection. I framed my design with a wide rectangle die.
Stamped my sentiment and added a few pale papaya jewels to complete my card.
Hope you can play alonq with us this eek. We have some rich jewel tones for your card making designs.

This is gorgeous Mary! That floral spray is really accentuated by that DSP and the gems. You have such a knack for picking out exactly the right designer paper!

Gorgeous card, Mary. Love the cascading floral arrangement. So beautiful in the challenge colors. The background paper is perfect for your design. The gems are a nice touch.

Mary, what a stunning card of encouragement for your friend. The spray of flowers is lovely, the DS paper in the background could not be more perfect, and, of course, the sentiment is perfect for the occasion!
