We're going green for this week's Teaparty! Polly has challenged us to use a green critter on our cards for Nick, who just received a kidney transplant.
Turtle, his shell, and the shadow were cut using the Cricut cartridge. The slope was leftover from another card I made a while back.
Created an ink blended background using the Hero Arts inks.
Printed the greeting onto Gina K white CS & die-cut with an oval. It looked too bright so I used what green ink was left on the blending brush to tone it down a bit, cut two more ovals from green CS & black CS & layered. Popped it up with foam tape. Popped up the assembled turtle with foam tape. Popped up Keep Calm... with foam tape to create a stop for the easel. (...and SNAP on, snapping turtle?? LOL!)
I hope it gives our recipient a chuckle!

Adorable! Love that turtle and the pattern on his shell. The fact that he is one the "green" at a golf course is hilarious, but it looks like he's making good progress to the hole. Love both your sentiments. Fab card and one that's bound to give Nick a big smile.

PERFECT!!! I love the sentiment on this card (both of them!). Some good looking turtle you got there too!
