Flowers and leaves were watercolored. The advantage of using watercolors is that with any given color one can change the value of that color by what amount of water is added to the pigment. One reason I like to use watercolors for the color challenges. TH OI gray to softly shade around them.

Lovely coloring of the hibiscus. Those flowers make me think of BErmuda, and how sad they last only the one day!! Fabulous water coloring as usual, Sallie.

Sallie, I just Love the brightness you achieved using these colors! Your blooms and leaves are simply Gorgeous! The light gray for the bg looks wonderful as does the framing~
