Our Teapot Tuesday challenge is to create a card for stamper Sharon, who is recovering from a broken femur using parts of other cards or tickles received.
For the background I used Distress Oxide sprays over a stencil, framed it with gold metallic, black and SU Island Indigo (I think). I sponged a leaf die cut with encore Gold and heat embossed with gold embossing powder, added a butterfly and sentiment and some gold gems for sparkle.
Sharon, I hope you heal quickly and that in the meantime our cards will bring you some cheer. Hang in there; this, too, will pass, and soon enough you will be up and around and cranking out cards again!!

Amazing background. I thought at first that it was a gel print - the sprays look fantastic. Great idea to heat emboss the foliage sprig, it too looks amazing.

Adding my "Fabulous" and "Awesome Background" for this beauty. I love how your combined a lighthearted stencil with a more elegant gold leaf. The two work wonderfully together. And Your framing finished it off wonderfully too. Great card.
