I couldn't get this last week's WCW challenge at all. I didn't enjoy the video and when I tried it I struggled with the techniques. Too much water, pale pink too wet (trying to dilute deeper pink), white paint full of pink in another attempt to get pale pink, dreaded splattering and a load of space to fill! I should have just painted 2 flowers on a vertical piece as this took me 5 attempts and it is only just about OK.

you and me both ;) but, what I can tell you is. I love the colors you chose for this they are so happy and pretty I am thinking (after the fact) that I think there were things she felt were obvious and she edited them out of the process. ( like maybe drying and re-wetting) because, I had a lot of the same issues.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would, although I'd say flowers are never my Forte. And I think Stacy is right about things not explained. I love how vibrant this is.

Sorry you didn't totally enjoy this video, but your painting is terrific. YOu are right about her not going into detail about drying and rewetting. Personally I think your background is lovely with the colors and texture. If ever you find a video that you think would interest our painters PM any of us on the team and we would be glad to use it. It's hard to know what interests everyone. Thanks for playing and giving your honest opinion.
