And got a vision in my head for a card that contained the color scheme and elements from the original picture and was able to create it pretty much exactly as I had envisioned.
I started with a premade Hallmark blank notecard that had a wide, bright pink edge. I found a scrap of black cardstock and cut it to form a layer for the card front. I cut the black and white patterned paper to the same size, then made an angle cut across the top and attached to the black piece. I attached a length of pink ribbon and wrapped edges around the black piece and secured, then glued the piece to the card front.
I die cut two balloons from a scrap of vellum and inked the reverse side of one balloon with spun sugar ink, and the other with flirty flamingo. I attached both to the card front and tied a length of gold thread to one balloon. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock in black pigment ink then added black embossing powder and heat embossed. Finished with several pink rhinestones.
Thanks for looking!
