I chose to separate the segments of this fun background stamp so each ray had a different color and pattern. I used shades of yellow and orange inks directly to each stamp segment. I used the MISTI tool to do this. It helped keep the segments in the right place while I added the different colors of ink. The patterns of each sun ray was made using stencils. I did this after I had stamped the entire image. I just masked off each ray with post it tape and laid the stencil over each ray and used a bit darker ink. I then die cut the Sending Love die from the new release from white cardstock 3 times for thickness and adhered together with liquid adhesive and placed it on the sun. The sub-sentiment comes from the Pop-Up Shape Puns stamp set. I stamped it using a coordinating ink on white cardstock and cut it to a strip. It is popped up with some 3d foam squares.
