Color Challenge hosted by Jeanne. She selected these colors: Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, and Parakeet Party with Spring for the dessert option.
For my card, I die-cut a Basic White rectangle stitched frame and center panel. I used two dies as they cut the stitch marks on both sides of the cut line.
Then I randomly stamped on the frame in the challenge colors. I stamped the Calypso Coral flowers twice without re-inking. I used the Fresh Freesia color with marker dots in the background. I put Wink of Stella on each dot, so it is sparkly, especially with the added crystals.
On the smaller panel, I stamped the sentiment, hummingbird and flower & also the stem stamped off first. I fussy cut another flower to put on top of the stamped one and glued it only in the center after curving up the petals. At first I was planning to inlay the sentiment panel, but decided instead to pop it up with fun foam.
Lovely colors for spring. I look forward to seeing all the beautiful cards. We hope you will join in and play along, with dessert or not. Have fun! TFL

This is such a lovely card, Diane. I like your flowers stamped all over the first panel and the sweet hummingbird on the sentiment panel; I have always liked that sentiment stamp!

That is seriously a terrific way of using these colors!! Your hummingbird caused me to check their migration. They should be here in about 9 days. I look forward to them.

I've always loved the Bloomin' Marvelous set, even thought about it for this week's colors. You did a lovely job with it, adding sparkle and dimension. I especially like the tiny dots in the background to tie in with the Freesia hummingbird!
