This is my least favorite of the egg cards, especially because I loved the color and the way the background stamp looked. Unfortunately a lot of powder didn't stick so I ended up adding a sentiment in the middle of the egg to hide as much of the missed area as I could. So I feel kinda meh about this one.
I had painted the egg blue and after it dried, stamped the background in Versamark clear embossing ink and heat embossed (somewhat unsuccessfully) with gold powder. To fix it, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and embossed with gold on a scrap of yellow cardstock, then die cut it with a square label die and glued to the egg. I dry embossed a rectangle of yellow cardstock with the vine folder and attached to a premade white card, then attached the egg with foam tape.
USEIT2023: The Easter sentiment is old enough to have a paper price sticker on it and it's another that makes a repeat visit most years. The background stamp, on the other hand, saw its first use, as well as the square labels (as you will see, I used the square labels a LOT the last couple of days!). And I used up the wood eggs I had got at Dollar Tree.
