Browsing through today's FS's gallery is like a walk through an arboretum! Christine (aka Crafty Meme) is a master of floral cards! I chose this one to case: Jar of Lavender by Crafty Meme at Splitcoaststampers
I knew I couldn't come close to her skill level, but I was able to recreate her combination of a window and a plant in front. I used a different window die and made mine a green plant in a blue "ceramic" pot die cut from some DSP. The scene outside the window is from a magazine. I embossed the BG with a brick EF and sponged Bashful Blue over it to add definition. Enjoy your day in the spotlight, Christine!

Awesome -- and I wish that was the view from my window. Oh, to dream. So clever to use a print from a magazine and it looks super. Love the floral gingerbread on the window and that's one great window die. I also love how you carried the blues from the picture over to the vase and wall. The vase looks like it could be delft china. I think your window scenes are second only to your beach scenes. Fabulous card.

Creative case. Love the window view. Using a photo from a magazine was ingenious! Love the die-cut window frame with the decoration at the top and the brick embossed "wall". The beautiful potted plant completes the look. Well done!

What a beautiful CAS card you really did an awesome job. I love everything about this card. I love the picture behind window. I use personal pictures for this lots of time. For my lavender in jar card I actually did a little water color picture (my very first water color pic) it was based on a picture from a lavender farm near me.
So very happy that you found inspiration in one of my cards.
