The soft colors in this week's challenge looked very familiar and I realized I had been going through a pile of scraps from an older "slab" pad the other day and had seen very similar colors in some of the designs. I decoded to combine the color challenge with today's sketch challenge and make a square card, which is outside my A2 comfort zone!
I made a 4x4" square card from white cardstock (so I can still use those A2 envelopes and save a stamp!) and covered the front with medium brown cardstock. I layered on two smaller squares of the pattern paper (note: these didn't photograph great, they all came out darker than they look in real life, and the green was bluer). On an even smaller square of the brown cardstock, I stamped two flowers off opposite corners and embossed with copper embossing powder. I added brown rhinestone stickers in the flower centers. I stamped the sentiment on a small scrap of aqua paper and glued to the brown square, then attached the brown square to the card with foam tape.
USEIT2023: first use for the flower stamp; used a bit more of that ancient slab pad of paper.
