This week we are finding inspiration in the expansive and creative Gallery of tutorialist extraordinaire, Dina (aka dini). I know, I know, I should have used one of her tutorials; but I found inspiration for teen boy cards for this month's Cards for a Cause: DTGD21smadson You Rock! by dini at Splitcoaststampers
I loved everything about Dina's card so I tried to stay as true to her design as I could with my supplies and an A2 format. I initially ink blended white cs with the patina DOX and then smooshed another piece with the leftover ink (and a bit more). Stamped the images, sentiment and bg elements on the panels. Distressed the edges of the main panel with black DOX. The "U" is stacked 3x with two layers of black cs. I offset the panel to the left to mimic Dina's card.
Congratulations again Dina on being this week's FS. You have provided so much inspiration to so many of us here at SCS and this week is just one more instance. I hope you read the line just about the main panel because it describes you: "You rock, you sparkle, you shine". Actually, it describes everyone here -- your cards send out so much support, pleasure and happiness around the world -- you rock, you sparkle and you shine. Never forget that.
P.S. Tutorialist is not a word I could find in the dictionary, but I think Dina deserves her own special word for all her hard work on our behalf. Hugs.

Perfect word for Dina and you should submit to the word people to get it put into play. Your cards are fabulous - high energy but calm colors. Wonderful, Debbie. Many hugz

An amazing design! Love how you did the fabulous print BG. The stamped figures with their inked blue tones in that BG is outstanding. You are so creative and the stacked headline is fantastic. You rock... Debbie...
