After doing the zentangle weave, I decided to add color to mine using watercolor pencils and blender pen. I cut it apart & stamped the sentiment. I wanted to highlight the opening, but with something other than strips of card stock. So I took 2 used tea bags and twiiisted each into a long string. I wet them to make them tight, but decided to add glue as well. I have a container of white glue mixed about half strength with water that I use for stiffening crocheted snowflakes, so I used that to saturate them so they would become firm. I tightened the twist and pinned them to cardboard at each end and let them dry overnight. Once dry, I painted them with black acrylic paint and let that dry. Then I attached them along the opening & let the glue dry well before trimming off the ends. I embellished with a double butterfly. I bottom layer is glued flat & the upper layer is glued at the body and the wings are popped up using some small pieces of cardboard underneath.

Beautiful! I like how you did the string for the divider of your zentangle. You colored your basket weave perfectly and the butterfly really pops. Good work!!!
