This card is actually made with paper towel instead of a coffee filter. I wanted to try different ways to do this, just in case not everyone had the preferred supplies. I really had a good time doing this technique and had a hard time stopping. The paper towel had a swirly pattern and I hope you can see that. All the diecuts and punched pieces are cut several times for dimension. Tomorrow I will upload two more cards, using coffee filters and glossy cardstock instead of photo paper. That works too!

Caught my eye....it's a beauty. Love the paper towel technique. I do see the swirly pattern.

So beautiful Jean. I love the textured BG and the added dimension of the heart. Awesome card. I don't have coffee filters and was wondering what else could be used. Thanks for the tip. Happy day and hugs

OMG I LOVE this! The whole card is awesome, but the fact that you were able to get this cool of an effect with a paper towel has me wanting to give it a go! Thanks for the challenge, Jean, and for coming up with alternative routes to participate for those of us without coffee filters on hand (coffee drinker here, but we use other means to get our daily cup made in the morning!).

Love the colors! The swirl does show up, and the heart is fab. I had some glossy photo paper, and the shine is just fab! Thanks for a fun challenge, Jean!

I can see the pattern, yes. And I guess kitchen towel is designed to absorb moisture so should be a great substitute. And maybe leave you with the towel suitable for using on another card? Lovely design.
