Found some time before my lesson to start work on this and went to teach with white paint flecks on my hands and nails. Completed it tonight.
This was a card where I "quit whilst I was ahead" so left off the pine cones and the robin redbreast which I was originally going to add in place of the cardinal - we don't have those.

It's a beauty, Janine. I love your pine branches and the wonderful fence. I thought about leaving my birds off because I was afraid of messing up the card but I made myself do it.

Perspective done right. Need to try this again. Love your fence and the pine boughs. Terrific shadowing and snow drifts. Smiling here about the splatters. My glasses were speckled like crazy. Fav'd Thanks for coming this week and adding your great painting.
