This is for today's tea party for Carlene's (chatterbox-1) family. I decided to open up Carlene's gallery and see what caught my eye. The bonus of doing that is that she had all the challenges listed for her card and I could pick and choose. This is the card that started mine: Hugs for Kandie! by Chatterbox-1 at Splitcoaststampers
I used stencils like she did, both of them never used.
Her card featured one word for MMTPT728, which was a tea party for Kandie, another creator from Alpha Land. My word is serenity. I used the colors for a neglected color challenge earlier this year: pacific point, fresh freesia, balmy blue. I also added a little smoky slate around the edges and in the middle, along with some Nuvo Drops. TLC725 was stacked stencils and CAS503 was to use stencils. I think that about covers it. Carlene was amazing at gathering so many challenges into one card....check out her gallery. Thanks for the challenge(s)!

Beautiful stenciling and beautiful colors. Love the touch of lavender with the blues. Love that you were inspired by Carlene's work and your lovely card is a fitting tribute to her work. That sentiment is awesome. Fabulous card.

Lovely combination of stencils, Jean. I wouldn't have thought of pairing dots with a flower like that. And I always love what you do with pearly accents.
