A friend asked me if I could make a Mrs. Incredible card for her today, so I checked the challenge for inspiration for it. Toni has challenged us to divide our main image today. I could have printed out a picture of Mrs. Incredible and cut it into thirds or fourths, but I decided to divide her a little differently. I dropped an image into the Brother Canvas Workspace and divided her into her parts and cut them from white, black, and red paper. I couldnât get too much detail in my cut pattern, but I think the abstract artsy look is pretty cool. Since she doesnât have a face here, I didnât want to cut the eyeholes in the mask, but I couldnât get them out of the pattern. So I had to just color her eyes in black (they were very wonky looking otherwise). I also had a hole in her shirt where the logo would go, so I colored black behind her shirt and then added a gold âiâ with gel pen. I kept it CAS to accentuate her simplicity by just sponging a radiant background and stamping a small sentiment. I hope you like my fancy division today.

This is really fun, Jen!! Love the way you envisioned the parts.

I think that is fantastic! A lot of jiggering on your part but the result is perfect to me! I knew exactly who it was when I saw it. And what a great idea for female empowerment/support!
