When I uploaded my card for the Thursday challenge that was a lovely sponged sky scene, I said it didn't feel like a work of art, because it was so easy to do. This was easy to, but I am very proud of my work of art. I was sure my painting was going to be a sloppy mess, but I guess this imprecise and loose style does work for me. I'm generally inclined to just slap on paint and hope for the best. That's exactly what I did here and it worked! I started off this card fully expecting to need a cute critter to add to it, but in the end I didn't want to cover it up with anything. Just added a lovely sentiment and distressed the edges a bit. I don't want to part with this card.
Oh, you should keep this!! You could frame it. It's beautiful! You have inspired me to look for a spiritual sentiment and maybe I will frame mine too. I love your sky. Your painting style is gorgeous!

Oh my, how have I missed this? It is just so beautiful. You did an expert job with this painting and I would not part with it, either. I LOVE the sentiment....so wonderful.
