The Tea Potters are sending some paper cheer to John who is feeling isolated in Buffalo with all the snow and the recent loss of his wife. Our hostess asked us to make something that "moves" so I pulled out my trusty slider die.
For the card, I ink blended the water, mountains and sky with CP inks then die cut the slider frame. Stamped, colored with Copics and die cut the fisherman using the "out of box" technique and mounted on a circle layer. Printed and colored the zany Vera Lane fish with Copics and assembled the slider. The sentiment is computer generated using Angelica Caroline font.
Normally, I would avoid using such different styles of images on the same card; but, I was hoping that these zany fish would be unexpected and give John a laugh. I hope they give you a chuckle too. TFL

I've always loved that Mo Manning image. The addition of the 'crazy' fish really put a smile on my face and hopefully will on John's as well. Wonderful card!

Debbie the mixed styles are just so perfect! I was concentrating on the fisherman in the upper picture so when I did a visual scan down it caught me off guard to see those feisty fish and had me laughing out loud. (especially with that double entendre sentiment - wiley depends on who's doing the speaking and i love that!)
