Our dear friends celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this week and since they are artists, I wanted to create a special card. I took a chance and drew some faces on this sweet couple who were originally cut out as a silhouette. I won't get any awards for my art, but I'm glad I gave it a go. They really appreciated my attempt. The flowers were meant to adorn her dress, but I hung them in the tree instead like these gorgeous trees in our inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/479492691654664898/

Such a special card for a fabulous celebration, Nancy. Don't sell yourself short - you did a terrific job making the silhouettes into little works of art!

Nancy...you are the mistress of coloring! So many elements to examine, interesting subtle additions, like the gold 'buttons' on her sleeve. I love the 'marble' pot as well as their faces...they must have been delighted.
