My camera has got problems so I've scanned my cards
I've made the purple one the first, no sentiment yet, will add it before i'll send it, I've used masking fluid on the purple one to make the flowers, started with the bg and did the dry brush technique for the grasses, the second one is a bit "wild" I've forgotten to paint the bg first so painted the bg over the first layer of grass and that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, then I've added the other layers of grass, painted the flowers over the last layer added grass on the bottom and flowers, there was a stroke on the left which looked like a kind of bambou so used a bit of brown and finished with a white posca, no masking fluid on the red card

Lovely strokes and flowers, Anita. I like that you did just a bit of grass. I need to try that next time. Hugz

I think they both turned out great and I see your stalk of bamboo on the left. All the yellow makes it look like a sunny day which is good. Wonderful paintings, Anita.

Thanks for sharing both paintings and how you created them with masking them and not. They are both beautiful and have a great amount of movement. I like how you left some of the purple white on the flowers. Always enjoy your artistry. Thanks for joining us this week.

I like that I am really able to see your dry brush strokes behind the darker grasses. Like the artist, I think I really did cover too much of mine with the forefront strokes. I really like the pods on the bamboo one - they continue the airy feel of the grassy leaves.
