For WT928: WT928 - Open the Gate - 12-22-2022 by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
Now that I'm on holidays I was at last able to make a Christmas card for DH. Dasher was on my desk waiting to use, so I star ted from there. I winged the measurements because I was basing the card on using the gate dies. But I used Robin's tutorial in the first post in this thread:TLC579 ~ Hinged Panel Card ~ {03/28/2016} by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers. And my card was 4" high by 9 wide. I masked the foreground, sponged and spritzed the sky and then stamped in the trees before removing the masking. Then sponged some shadows into the snow and added the gates. Similar process inside except I stamped and embossed Dasher before everything else. Also I spattered the inside with gold Twinkling H2Os rather than spritzing with water, and added a gold crescent moon. The blue is uniformly dark across it in real life - I had to angle it so that it wasn't all in shadow. The colour in the righthand panel on the bottom photo is close to true, a night blue.

Another beautiful card. That gate is really pretty, and hiding the deer makes this so much fun!!
