Well, the sentiment on my card today is the perfect description for this week's Featured Stamper, Heather aka Gadabout, Gallery -- it's fun, it's filled with wonderful design and it will definitely make you smile. This is the card that inspired me: Beautiful Thistle by Gadabout at Splitcoaststampers I love the big botanical overlaid onto the plaid bg. And that is one great sentiment.
I am working on donation cards for this month's Cards for a Cause and I wanted something neutral for either a man or woman. So I changed her colors to greens, swapped out the thistle for leaves and changed the sentiment. I kept her plaid bg (although mine is embossed) and a fancy frame for the sentiment. This is a really versatile design and I can see many many different colors and images working great here. I will probably make some more of these for my donation pile.
So many thanks Heather for your wonderful inspiration. Congrats on being selected Featured Stamper. I hope you enjoy all the cards made in your honor. And, I hope all of you will have fun today and smile. TFL

Such a you card, Debbie. Love that sentiment!
The embossing is great, and I totally love the foliage. I really wanted to case one of her foliage cards like this, but it never works for me....funny how things like that go.
Sweet case/card. Hugz

Ooh I love the ef you used for this and those sentiment diecuts too. I have not used those a lot and they totally suit your case of Heather's wonderful card. The patterned dp adds even more interest along with the fronds!
