I used a Stephanie Barnard Daisy die to cut daisies from white sticker paper. I placed the daisies randomly on the card base, then punched out circles and glued them to the centers of the daisies. I hand-drew the word Groovy in a font style I thought represented the late sixties decade. Daisies were popular then as a symbol of freedom, peace, liberation, and were on clothing, jewelry, key rings, and home decor items such as pillows, and were probably picked from fields to put in vases. The trend has been repeated several times since it became popular in the sixties.
