This week we are becoming time travelers. I'm going back to the 50's. I was inspired by the movie White Christmas (1954) as I thought this girl looks like she could be an extra in that movie. I think it's the muff...LOL.

Ha! I thought this looked like a scene from the movie before I read your write-up. I remember the sisters having muffs like that. Your card is stunning. Fabulous coloring. Love love love the gold on this. Awesome card, Polly.

That really does look like a scene straight from the movie. (It's one of my favorite movies -- I remember watching it with my brother when we were kids and with my son, so I have decades of good memories associated with it.)

Talk about a perfect Christmas card for the vintage lovin' peeps among us! It checks all the boxes: lovely coloring of the 'to die for dress', fabulous depth of each element, the German scrap foil, the gold ep edging, that crisp die cut base...White Christmas indeed...
Think we need to hold fast to those memories.

I had a wonderful muff, with a string that went around my neck (I guess so I wouldn't lose it) that I wore with white gloves and lacy socks to church. Your image brings me way back! such a sweet card, and fun challenge, Polly.
