My card for this week's Teaparty, Let's Use Stencils! Our fellow cardmaker and Teapotter, Carlene, needs some well-wishes and paper hugs!
I inked up the Raindrop stencil on Whisper White CS with the Blue Breeze ink, then stacked the Heidi Swap dots stencil over it, and inked that up with Distress Peacock Feathers. Inked up another piece of Whisper White CS with the Mermaid Lagoon stencil and Sno Cone ink. Layered the stenciled pieces onto Green Galore CS, and added to card front.
Stamped the bunny with the umbrella onto Mixed Media paper with the Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with colored pencils. Fussy-cut her out, and popped her up on the card front with foam tape.
Computer-generated the sentiment on Whisper White CS, layered it on Green Galore, added the flower brads, and popped the sentiment strip up on the card front with foam tape.
Hope my card cheers Carlene up when she receives it! TFL!

This is such a sweet image and he looks like he's having fun playing in the rain. Your coloring look fabulous as does your fussy cutting. Loving the blues and greens. This card makes me happy and I'm a crafter like Carlene will appreciate all the special touches. Great card.

As a collector of umbrellas in real life as well as a good few stamps, I just love this. What an adorable card. I really like the dots stencilled over the raindrops, picking up the deeper blue of the umbrella.

this card is fabulous ! Love the bunny flying in the air, and that sentiment is absolutely perfect ! Great coloring... those brads are perfect on this card. I have a box with tons and tons of different sizes and shaped brads and never think to use them. It's a shame, because as your card shows: it really adds the perfect finishing touch to cards.
